Imphal, June 16 2009: Notorious Nando will be taken out of the jail and formally arrested tomorrow for further investigation into the murder of special contractor Yengkhom Krishnadas.

This was revealed to this newspaper by a high level police officer today.

Police will submit charges to the court tomorrow implicating Nando in the plot to kill Krishnadas and pray the court to permit the police to arrest him in a new case.

As soon as the court issues permission to arrest him, police will produce him before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal for remanding him in police custody.

Meanwhile, the Kakching JAC has thanked those who took part in yesterday procession.

The agitation will continue till demand for justice is fulfilled, the JAC said.
