Imphal, November 27 2009: The body of a man who probably beaten to death was found at Gelmol Lamkhai under Moirang Police Station in Bishnupur district today morning.

According to police, the body that bore multiple injuries was found with the head plunged into a roadside drain at around 6 am.

The hands were also tied from behind.

The deceased was found clad in light blue T-shirt, black trousers and belt and the ear lobes are not pierced.

Police have picked up the body and kept at the mortuary of RIMS Hospital.
