Imphal, February 23, 2010: The KYKL-MDF has claimed responsibility for the killing of one Md Shalam (53) of Shikhong Khunou Thongtabi on February 13 night.

Alleging that Md shalam was an informer of security forces whose disclosure had led to slaying of the outfit's activists, a statement issued by Anand, Public Relation Officer of KYKL-MDF, also accused Shalam of being involved in the conspiracy to create divisions in the society.

Seeking pardon from the public for the delay in making the claim, Anand said Shalam was slain by members of the KYKL-MDF's 3rd Coy under the unit's commander.

The outfit also warned all concerned against misusing the name of KYKL-MDF while accessing into Govt departments while conveying that under the command of Department Officer namely Damcha, the project works are being handled by assistant Achouba.
