Imphal, December 15 2008: Centre for Organisation Research and Education (CORE) decried the killings of Seram ongbi Shanti of Nongren Mayai Leikai, Md Hasan of West Bengal Mursidabad and Maharabam Rajen of Awang Sekmai Khunou Mathak by unidentified gunmen.

CORE while urging the Government to protect the life and liberty of the people appealed the general public to maintain peace and tranquillity.
