Imphal, June 15 2009: Protest demonstrations demanding release of student activists arrested in connection with the killing of Prof Islamuddin have been continuing.

Students staged protest demonstrations at Special Regular English High School, A Jalil High School Khergao, St Peter's High School and Kanhai Higher Secondary School.

Members of the Apunba Nupi Lup Nambol Sabal Leikai, Phoijing Awang and Lamphel Sanakeithel Nupi Kanglup also staged protest demonstrations pressing for the same demand at Nambol Sabal Leikai, Phoijing and Lamphel Sanakeithel respectively.
