Imphal, January 23 2010: In connection with the death of Phamdom Ningol Sadokpam Ongbi Sangita, an angry mob today razed down three houses to the ground at Ghari Awang Leikai in Imphal West district.

Sangita was found death hanging inside the house of her husband at Ghari Awang Leikai in a suspicious manner yesterday morning.

Today morning, an angry mob destroyed three houses including that of Sangita's husband Romanta on alleged charge of murdering the woman.

The three houses were located adjacent to each other.

Meanwhile, the body of Sangita has been handed over to the police after post-mortem examination at RIMS today.

Lamphel police have also reportedly arrested Romanta and his second wife Angeli in connection with the case.
