Imphal, June 16 2009: Denouncing the killing of MU Proctor Prof Islamuddin within MU campus, teachers and students of Madrassa Alia, Thoubal staged a protest sitting today.

A press release issued by the Madrassa conveyed that the protesters shouted different slogans decrying the killing of Prof Islamuddin.

They also demanded resignation Manipur University Vice-Chancellor and Registrar on moral ground.
