Imphal, July 31: The proscribed PREPAK has refuted the claim of the claim of the SP of Imphal West that Akham Boby (19) of Mayang Imphal Thana Wangkhei is a member of the outfit.

In a statement, the outfit said that the claim of the SP that the arrest of Boby and his disclosure about child recruiters led to an encounter in which two persons were killed is absolutely false.

The outfit said that there is no such thing as PREPAK (VC) and the statement of the SP was meant to portray the picture that PREPAK is a divided house.

This is nothing but following the policy of divide and rule.

On the issue of kidnapping children, the outfit said that it had already stated its position and added that the Govt agencies and its security forces are trying to malign the image of PREPAK.
