Imphal, August 29: The suspected UG claimed to have been killed by the Army during the attack launched by PREPAK at the post of 4/8 GR Bn at Ningthoukhong ITI complex in Bishnupur district on the night of August 26 has been identified today.

He was one Haobijam Binoy alias Badal (30) s/o Haobijam Kondumba of Thanga Bazar.

According to family members he was a former cadre of PLA who after coming out from jail on bail married and doing business.

The family members claimed that at around 5.30 pm of August 26, Binoy had gone out from his rented house at Uripok Tourangbam Leikai to hand over a mobile phone battery charger at his wife's place at Thangmeiband Dewan Leikai.
