Imphal, February 27: The proscribed PULF has claimed responsibility for killing of Md Talibur at Lilong Litan Makhong on February 2 and Md Hussain Ahamed and Md Ithem of Yairipok Ningthounai on February 25. A press release issued by the outfit's publicity cell secretary Saroj Khan accused Md Talibur of working with MI Khan and Umar Farooque group and involved in extorting money from people in Lilong area.

He was also involved in killing student leader Hanif Shah and injuring Anwari Nurjahan.

Saroj Khan further alleged that Ahamed Hussain was not only instrumental in creating a PULF faction but was also involved in murdering many civilians on false charges.

Ahamed Hussain also swindled Rs 8 lakhs from the party's fund.

Md Ithem was a civilian but the party could not help him for he was accompanying �criminal Hussain', maintained Saroj Khan.
