Imphal, April 24 2009: Bomb disposal squad of the BSF safely exploded one .39 high explosive (HE) hand-grenade at about 4 pm today.

based on information provided by a local source to a BSF official (SI/G Khola), a patrol party of the BSF's 88th Bn reportedly detected the explosive device from near the river bank of Wangjing Tekcham Leikai at around 2 pm.
