Imphal, September 23: The body of a suspected UG activist who was reportedly killed by troops of 12 Assam Rifles during a shoot out which took place at Kashung village located along Indo-Myanmar border under Kasom Khullen Division of Ukhrul district on September 21 night has been brought and deposited at RIMS morgue here for post-mortem and identification.

According to OC of Kasom Khullen, the body would be disposed off if no one come to claim it within September 25 .

According to police, the slain UG suspect was around 5 feet 4 inches tall with fair complexion and found clad in blue colour shirt and brown colour trousers, and the ear lobes are not pierced.
