Lamka, May 04 2010: Among intending candidates who have filed their nominations for the 24 ADC seats in the district, 106 have cleared the scrutiny held today at the DC's conference hall.

With the conclusion of the scrutiny, 23-Muallum ADC Constituency in Singngat sub-division witness 9 candidates clearing the first hurdle and remains the most sought after seat followed by 4-Chongkhojou in Henglep and 5-Thanlon in Thanlon sub-division with five candidates each.

The sole candidate from New Lamka (West) H.Mangchinkhup as well cleared today's scrutiny.

18-Zenhang Lamka with 2 candidates, an independent and an INC candidate recorded the minimum number of contenders among the constituency that will seek the popular mandate.
