Imphal, March 03: A suspected UG cadre was shot dead by Bishnupur district commandos at Keinou Mamang under Bishnupur police station at about 10.30 last night.

It is reported that one 9 mm pistol and nine live rounds were recovered from the slain individual.

The corpse has been deposited at RIMS mortuary.

The deceased who appears to be about 30 years of age is tall, well built and has medium complexion.

His ear lobes were pierced.

He was wearing a red colour T-shirt embossed with the word ANCHORS on the chest and reddish trousers, said hospital sources.
