Imphal, May 27 2010: The Union Home Ministry has instructed the State Government to take up additional measures to bring in more essential goods along National Highway 39 in view of the unsettling situation prevailing over the proposed visit of NSCN (IM) general secretary Th Muivah to Manipur .

Disclosing this, an official source said that the Union Home Ministry had instructed the State Government to take up necessary additional measures to make National Highway 53 'active'.
