Imphal, May 23 2010: The Senapati District Students' Association has demanded immediate withdrawal of police commandos and IRB personnel from Senapati district.

In a representation submitted to IG (L/O-III) V Zathang, SDSA said that commandos/IRBs tore and stamped their boots on the letter head of the student body yesterday, which is an outright insult.

While condemning the act, the student body urged the IG to initiate an investigation into the incident immediately and give befitting punishment to the culprits.

The SDSA would launch a series of agitation if the authority fails to look into the matter, it added.
