Imphal, August 25: In protest against planting of a bomb at the Kwakeithel Moirangpurel residence of Potsangbam Jadumani, who is an SE in Electricity Department, a Wakat Meepham was staged by the local club members and Meira Paibis today.

Police have retrieved the bomb, a Chinese made hand grenade which was planted in a flower pot placed on the verandah of the house this morning.

No one has claimed responsibility for the bomb threat.

A case has been registered.
