Imphal, March 25 2009: A suspected underground activist of th proscribed PREPAK has been reportedly killed during an encounter with the combined force at Chini Ingkhol in Bishnupur district at around 5 pm today.

According to police report, the combined force of Bishnupur Police Commandos, 4/8 GR and 23 Assam Rifles have also recovered on pistol and a magazine loaded with five rounds of ammunition from the possession of the slain UG suspect.

The body has been picked up and kept at the mortuary of RIMS Hospital.

The same combined team also reportedly shot dead another UG suspect at Nambol Kamong at around 8 pm today.
