Imphal, April 19: Bomb squad of 88 Bn BSF posted at Nongpok Sekmai today safely defused two IEDs planted by unidentified persons at Pechi Chinglak, around 3 kms east of Yairipok Police Station today morning.

The battery operated IEDs were detected at around 7.15 am today by a team of the BSF who was detailed on IED checking operation.

The IEDs were safely removed and defused by the bomb squad of the BSF battalion at around 9.40 am today.
