Imphal, February 16: Titular king of Manipur Leishemba Sanajaoba and the Young Horizons who are taking part in the Love, Peace and Unity March which had been flagged off from Imphal on January 30 were given a rousing welcome today at the ground of Gargaon High School located within the palace complex of Ahom kings.

During ancient time, kings of Manipur have close relationship with the kings of Ahom and even maintain alliances.

The marchers arrived at Gargaon on February 14.The reception function was organised by Assam Meitei Apunba Lup.
