Imphal, August 02: A 45 year old man sustained injuries when a bomb hurled by unidentified persons exploded at his Yairipok Tulihal under Yairipok PS at around 7.20 pm today.

The injured man identified as Md Ashraf Ali (45) s/o late Md Rahaman, has been admitted to RIMS Hospital for treatment of the injuries sustained on his left shoulder.

According to police, the bomb landed and exploded in the kitchen of the house.

Ashraf is said to a truck owner.
