Imphal, December 28: The bullet riddled body of a man was recovered in a decomposed state from Imphal river at Laphupat Tera Khunou under Mayang Imphal PS at about 6 am today.

The corpse has been retrieved and deposited at Mayang Imphal PS this afternoon.

A bullet mark on the forehead and injury marks were also observed on the body.
