Imphal, July 17 2009: A decomposed body of a person suspected to have been beaten to death was discovered last afternoon near a culvert built on Bengi Chakthabi canal under Yairipok police station.

The deceased has been identified as Keisam Nityaichand (46) s/o Shamu of Bengi Makha Leikai.

Both his hands and legs were found tied.
