Imphal, November 13 2008: A 24 year old youth is undergoing treatment in a critical condition in RIMS after he was shot by some unidentified persons behind Kumbi Keithel shed under Kumbi police station at about 2 pm today.

The youth is identified as Nongmaithem Hemanta s/o late Khunba of Kumbi Keithel Leikai.

He was shot in the mouth by the unidentified persons.

The bullet exited through the cheek.
