Imphal, October 10 2009: In connection with the media report on encroaching upon the land of Jessami under Chingai Block of Ukhrul district and construction of rest houses and setting up of its armed police post by the Nagaland Govt, Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul today visited Jessami to inspect.

According to information received by the press, during the visit accompanied by SDO Chingai and SDC Jessami, the Deputy Commissioner has collected all the evidences related to the media.

If the report of the inspection visit could not be submitted to the Government today, it would be submitted by tomorrow morning, the source added.
