Imphal, November 09 2009: Mortal remains of the non-local hawker shot dead by unidentified gun men at Lamlai Keithel yesterday was cremated at Minuthong public crematorium after post mortem at RIMS today.

Shankar Sahu, a native of Bihar, was a hawker of grocery items.

Friends and relatives of Shankar Sahu tried to take out a procession carrying the corpse till Minuthong but they were prevented by police.

Following attacks by unidentified gun men, 15 non-local people are currently taking shelter in the relief camp opened by the Government at Dharamsala here.
