Imphal, December 07 2009: A bomb lobbed by suspected militants exploded at the house of Executive Engineer of PHED, Sanasam Lokendro at Thongju Pechu Lampak in Imphal east district this evening at about 6 pm.

No human casualty reported in the explosion but caused damages to the window pane and wall of the house of the engineer.

The attack at house of the engineer is the second time in the recent time since a failed attack was carried out on December 2 last.

In the morning of December 2 last, a hand grenade was recovered from the house.
