Imphal, January 18 2010: The proscribed UNLF has rejected the claims of the AR over the killing and recovery of arms from two UNLF suspects in an encounter with 12 AR personnel in Kamjong-Molvailup area in Ukhrul district which appeared in various newspapers today.

Denying the AR's claim, a statement issued by the senior publicity officer of the UNLF, Ksh Yoiheiba asserted that the claim of the AR's PRO was cooked up while also clarifying that there was no incident of shoot-out with the UNLF/MPA on the day.
