Imphal, April 19: The UG cadre shot dead by Thoubal district commandos at a spot in between Irong and Thoudam of Thoubal Leishangthem last night has been identified as one Lourembam Hemjit (23) s/o L Herachandra of Wangkhei Lourembam Leirak.

He joined the proscribed PREPAK some five years back.

On completion of post mortem at Lilong PHC, the corpse has been handed over to family members today.
