Imphal, October 28 2008: THE KUKI National Organisation/ Kuki National Army (KNO/KNA) has awarded capital punishment to one of its woman cell cadres named Miss Domneithem @ Thethem Haokip, d/o Th Holkhojang of Najang village, Churachandpur district on October 20 .

Giving this information, CL Kuki, Wing Commander of Wing No.VI, KNO/KNA in a press statement said that Miss Thethem had worked as an accountant (finance section) in Wing No.VI of KNA.

However, she had misappropriated party funds and later she made an abortive bid to form a new party.

Therefore as it is against the principles and norms of KNO/KNA, she, as an indisciplined and anti party cadre,had been awarded capital punishment, CL Kuki disclosed.

He further stated that before joining the KNO in its national struggle, she was unconsciously involved in the activities of UNLF and UKLF.
