Imphal, June 12 2009: The authorities of Salai Apunba Nupi Lamjing Lup (SANULAL) referring to the arrest of student leaders by the state authority in relation to the murder of the Professor of Manipur University, Dr Md Islamuddin have organized a sit in protest at the office premises of SANULAL at Singjamei Chingamakha today.

A press release of SANULAL issued by its General Secretary, RK Geeta appealed to the state authority to release the arrested student leaders who had been taking major roles to develop quality education in the state as soon as possible considering the welfare of the students of the society.
