Imphal, March 06, 2010: People�s Democratic Alliance (PDA) Manipur expressed resentment on the incident of injuring Advocate General N Koteshwar by a bullet of a Cabinet Minister.

Condemning the incident, a press release issued by General Secretary Gaidon Kamei said that the SPF Government and Chief Minister Ibobi have lost credibility and people�s faith due to such incidents.

The killings of Thomas L Kamei, Rabina and Sanjit testify the severe insecurity faced by common people, the press release said.

Expressing concern on the incident of injuring Koteshwar, Senior Citizens for Society has said that causing bullet injury to a person is a serious matter which cannot be brushed aside.

The senior citizens also demanded for thorough investigation of the incident by an independent body and book the culprits.

The SCFS also pledged support to the demands of the bar associations of the State in this connection.
