Imphal, January 20 2010: Unidentified gunmen opened fire at the residence of MU Engineer Sanasam Rajen at Thongju Pechu Lampak today evening, while the marriage ceremony of the Engineer's daughter was on.

According to police, before the groom's party arrived, unidentified gunmen fired around 3/4 rounds of gunfire at the residence of the Engineer at about 1.30 pm.

This is not the first time that the residence of the Engineer has come under attack as earlier, bombs have been hurled there.
