Imphal, January 19 2010: Atleast two persons have been injured in a powerful bomb blast at Naoremthong which is close to the private residence of manipur DGP Y Joykumar.

According to police sources, the blast occured at around 10 pm with the impact causing damage to a Honda Activa scooter.

The injured, whose identities could not be established at the time of filing this report, have been admitted to RIMS Hospital for treatment.

Police have recovered the pin and lever of hand grenade.
