Imphal, January 18 2010: The proscribed UNLF has refuted the claim of the PRO of IG AR (S) that two suspected UNLF cadres were killed in an encoun-ter with troops of 12 AR in Kamjong-Molvailup area of Ukhrul district and that weapons were recovered from them.

A press release issued by the outfit's senior publicity officer Ksh Yoiheiba asserted that there was no incident of gun-fight or encounter involving UNLF/MPA in the area.
