Imphal, May 12 2010: "Manipur is in tumult.

NSCN-IM leader Th Muivah is trying to do everything to disintegrate Manipur by arousing communal passions among the Naga tribes of the state.

Economic blockade which has been going on over a month in Manipur has created acute food shortages.

Communal tension runs high in this state.

But why the three MPs of Manipur, namely, Rishang Keishing, Dr T Meinya and Thangso Baite are silent? .

Why have not they said or done anything to help ease the situation," intellects, many MLAs of both ruling and opposition parties and senior citizens of the state asked.

The three MPs, specially Rishang Keishing, himself being a Naga leader, should insist the Centre on intervening in the impasse over Muivah's proposed visit to Manipur by telling him not to worsen the situation, many MLAs said.
