Imphal, December 09: The proscribed UNLF has claimed that its MPA cadres killed four security personnel and injured some others when a team of the fighting unit of the 293 Bn attacked a camp of the security force at L Bongjol in Chandel district today at about 6.50 am.

The camp of the security force was also substantially damaged in the attack by the MPA cadres who used heavy guns.

In a statement, the outfit said that the attack is part of the ongoing conflict at Somtal and Dingpi area.

All the cadres have returned safely to base camp, claimed the outfit further.
