Imphal, January 03: Chief of H Gamnom village Hemkhogin Haokip found dead at Heining-khong under Sugnu police station on January 1 was not killed by gun shot, clarified the OC of Sugnu police station.

During post mortem examination, there was no sign of any bullet mark on the body of the deceased.

But he was found bleeding in the mouth and nose while wounds were found on the back possibly caused by pulling him along a rough surface, the OC said.
