Imphal, December 30 2008: Apparently reacting to media reports about claims of security forces that suspected cadres of the KCP (MC) have been slain in different incidents of encounter in the recent past, the proscribed outfit has clarified that no cadre of the outfit has ever fallen victim in the hands of security forces till date.

A statement issued by the outfit's military affairs secretary Lanheiba Meitei claimed that no security force can defeat any KF Lanmee when he is armed as the outfit is allegedly well aware of the Indian security system.

On behalf of the party, Lanheiba Meitei appealed to all the bereaved families whose near and dear ones have been slain by security forces under the alleged false allegation of being cadres of KCP (MC) to have faith in the party and not to perceive it in the wrong light.

It pledged that the party would never undertake any activity that goes against the collective wish of the people.

Alleging that those involved in snatching mobile phones from Iboton Modern School were commando personnel attached to Wangoi police station, the outfit said that befitting punishment would be awarded to the allegedly guilty commando personnel.

The central security council of the party would soon discuss about attacking commandos without any clemency and the same may be executed without much delay, disclosed Lanheiba.

Asserting that the rampant killings being perpetrated allegedly by security forces is because of the tacit permission and support of the State Government, the outfit asked all the Ministers and MLAs of the ruling parties to take up remedial measures within a week.

In case the alleged harassment being meted out to families of UG cadres by security forces is not checked, the KCP (MC) would not be able to just sit back and watch all the excesses.

The outfit further pledged that it will struggle with the best efforts to bring about an egalitarian society in Manipur.
