Imphal, September 29 2009: The proscribed KCP (MC) has asserted that its field captain, Regan alias Tompok and Soreishang alias Litpa were killed in the most brutal manner by NSCN (IM)'s Kisingmung Battalion and a Meitei armed group.

This was established from the disclosure made by village clerk Joyson Ningkhal and village authority member Venture Shaiza, who were executed on September 23, said a press release issued by the outfit's military affairs secretary Lanheiba Meitei.

The killers of Regan and Soreishang also took away two AK-47 rifles, six magazines, 180 live rounds , one 9 mm pistol with 16 live rounds, .32 pistol with eight live rounds.

The twin murder was carried out by members of an armed group who split away from their parent body some months back together with NSCN (IM)'s Kisingmung Battalion.

The new armed group has also been working closely with security forces.

The outfit also called upon all insurgent groups to tackle the reactionaries collectively before they pose a challenge to the revolutionary movement.

Taking serious note of the statements of some individuals and leaders, which were suggestive as if armed cadres of some insurgents groups could kill people randomly, the outfit clarified that it has its own set of dos and don'ts.

Further reacting to the claim of SSP Imphal West that five individuals have been apprehended in connection with the abortive attempt to blow up a car bomb inside Raj Bhavan complex, the outfit asked whether the SSP's conscience agreed with his statement.

5th unit of the KFL's special demo team is still functioning and this can be proved anytime, anywhere, it asserted.

The outfit also asked the security forces not to harass innocent people.

Asserting that none of the arrested persons were cadres of the KFL, the outfit clarified that none of them have any relationship with the party.
