Imphal, September 25 2009: Claiming responsibility for the killing of Joyson and Venture of Happyland village, the proscribed KCP (MC) has accused the duo of killing Captain Regan alias Tompok and comrade Soreishang alias Litpa on September 21 .

A press release issued by the outfit's military affairs' secretary Lanheiba Meitei asserted that Joyson and Venture killed Regan and Soreishang in the most brutal manner after taking Rs 5000 from Kisingmung Bn, Naga Army.

They also confiscated a number of weapons and mobile handsets from the two KCP (MC) cadres.

Reacting to the clarification of the NSCN (IM) that it was not involved in the killing of Regan and Soreishang, the outfit asked if the Kisingmung Bn headed by Thumuthing was a different NSCN group.

The two KCP (MC) cadres were killed under instruction of the Government of India's Home Ministry, it alleged.

It pledged that all those involved in the brutal killing will be punished accordingly.

For the outfit, it is a arduous task to groom a dedicated revolutionary.

As such, the outfit felt a great loss in the untimely death of Captain Regan.

Declaring that the KFL would fight unto last against all those elements scheming to disintegrate Kangleipak, the outfit said that it would launch extensive search of all the individuals involved in killing its two cadres.

The outfit has paid homage to the two deceased cadres at its Ghqs.

It also asked the group concerned to own and clarify the killing to the public.
