Imphal, January 22: Strongly reacting to the allegations raised by the NSCN (IM) against two Ministers and the Speaker of the State Assembly, Lok Sabha MP Th Chaoba today said that the three implicated legislators should clarify their stand before the public in no uncertain terms.

Speaking at the reception function accorded to him at Keinou Thongkhong today, the MP said, "if they fail to authentically defend the charges hurled against them, they should accept the allegations and the Chief Minister should also resign on moral ground, asserted Chaoba.

"We will wait for the opportune moment and then as a responsible Opposition," said the MP.

Coming down heavily on the Congress led SPF Govt for its failure on all fronts, Th Chaoba said that the people should ensure that their candidates are defeated in the LS election.
