Imphal, August 12: While describing the decision of ANSAM to lift the 51-day old economic blockade as �a good sign of understanding' on the apart of the Naga students' body, IPSA, UPF and Hericoun have , however, expressed skeptical over the manner in the Government of India has prevailed upon AN-SAM to change its earlier decision.

In a joint statement, the three social organisations observed that lifting the economic blockade was not so important as the conditions under which it has been lifted which are still not clear to the people.

So the people of Manipur should not remain complacent and stand guard against any move to disintegrate the territorial integrity of Manipur.

The organsiations also maintained that it would be better for the truck drivers to stay away from National Highway 39 until the Government of Manipur and ANSAM come to a clear understanding over the issue of declaration of June 18 as State Integrity Day and an extended holiday.
