Imphal, January 17: At least 18 candidates for the forthcoming Assembly elections filed nomination papers before their respective returning officers today.

Among others, two candidates have filed nomination papers for Henglep constituency in Churachandpur district - Jenson Haokip of the Federal Party of Manipur and Langdolum, Independent candidate.

Two candidates also filed nomination papers for Andro constituency - L Amujao of the MSCP and Ch Angou of the MPP.
