Narco test on James Kuki, others soon

Imphal, September 19: Three persons accused in the kidnap and gruesome murder of Lungnila Elizabeth are likely to be put through the narco analysis and brain mapping test at Gandhinagar (Gujarat).

According to informed source, the CBI is likely to escort the accused persons, including kingpin James Kuki for the test at Gandhinagar very soon as Kolkata unit of the Central investigating agency had already intimated the matter to State authorities.

Besides James, the others accused who have to undergo the rigours include an individual hailing from Loktak Project area while the third person is from Imphal area.

Mention may be made that the trio recently underwent lie detection test conducted recently at Imphal by experts of National Forensic Science Laboratory, New delhi.

The source further informed that the CBI would submit chargesheet before the relevant court (Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, imphal) very soon and on completion of the procedure trial could be conducted.

Lungnila Elizabeth d/o then Education Minister Francis Ngajokpa was kidnap from near her school campus on November 4, 2003 with her highly decomposed body found at Tera Sadokpam Leikai area eight days later.

The State Govt entrusted the CBI to probe the kidnap and murder case owing to intense public pressure.
