Downsizing ordered in MAHUD, MUDA

Imphal, July 15: In response to the decision of the Finance Department that the salaries of employees working in departments not complying with the MoU signed between the State Government and the Union Ministry of Finance would be stalled, two departments have reportedly issued orders for downsizing/right sizing their employees.

The two departments are MAHUD and autonomous agency MUDA, a reliable source informed.

The source said that MAHUD Department had abolished all the 13 posts identified, including the posts of Executive Engineer and District Co-Ordinator and MUDA had followed abolishing all the four posts identified in compliance with the MoU.

Other departments which have not yet issued orders for downsizing/right sizing are DIPR, Health, Education (S), Education (U), CADA, FCS, Police, Printing and Stationeries, MPSC, Transport, Town Planning, SCERT, Vigilance, Government College of Technology, Government Polytechnic, Minor Irrigation, Family Welfare, Secretariat and autonomous agency PDA.
