Imphal, May 12: The proscribed outfit KCP-MC has clarified that there is no question of retracting from the earlier stand on Chief Judicial Magistrate of Bishnupur Tara Devi.

In a statement, propaganda, communication and technical officer of the outfit Tamnganba Meetei said that KCP-MC has the proof and evidence of the involvement of Tara Devi in killing comrade Md Zimi in connivance with one of her cousin brothers identified Jimga who is a major in the 7 Assam Rifles.

So Manipur Bar Association should not try to interfere without knowing anything. The statement further clarified that self-proclaimed district commander Oinam Udoi alias Kiyamba s/o Oinam Koireng of Wangjing Selungpham and Khetrimayum Hitendra alias Lallumba (37) s/o Khetrimayum Amumacha of Thinungei, who are allegedly taking up the case for Tara Devi are in fact two renegades who have already been rusticated from the party for defying the principles of the party and having link with Thokchom Nando Singh s/o Thokchom Subon of Khangabok Part-III Lamlong Bazar who is currently languishing in the jail.

So KCP-MC has no connection as such with these two persons.

Taking serious note of the cracks that have reportedly started appearing on Maphou Dam even before the construction work is over, KCP-MC announced that it would start investigating into the matter to find out whether it is the fault of the contractor or the engineer.

Suitable punishment would also be awarded in accordance to the findings of the investigation report.

The outfit appealed to all concerned to maintain the quality of the work while taking up such projects.

Denying any connection with the incident of leaving a bomb-parcel at Standard Robarth English Higher Secondary School, KCP-MC describing it as an act of cowardice said that such act of terror in a school studying by many innocent children can be perpetrated by only a gang and not a revolutionary party.
