Imphal, May 11: The proscribed KCP has today clarified that it is not in any involved in the recent incidents of planting bombs at the residences of Ministers and MLAs as well as in sending the bomb parcel to the Principal of Standard Robert Higher Secondary School, Canchipur.

Two persons who identified themselves as cadres of the KCP had delivered the bomb some days back.

In a statement, H Poirei, information and publicity secretary of the outfit said that KCP strongly condemns the act of delivering a bomb at a school, which disturbed the students and the teaching community.

Education is intrinsically linked to the development of a place, its culture, economy, governance, said the statement and added that education produces good citizens which in turn benefits the land.

It is against all revolutionary ethos to plant bomb, to attack educational institutions as well as demand money from educational institutions, said KCP and added such acts is nothing but terrorism.

The ultimate goal of all revolutionary outfits is independence while the aspiration of terrorists operating under the garb of revolutionaries is to extort money from the people.

KCP urged the people to differentiate the genuine revolutionary outfits and the extortionists and not encourage their activities.
