Imphal, January 04: The KCP (Mobile Task Force) has offered revolutionary salutes to its 12 cadres who passed away during the time the outfit could not keep in touch with the people.

In a statement, the chief commander of the outfit, City Meetei said that the 12 cadres were killed when the outfit was cut off from the people and added that now it will start working with the people.

The 12 cadres are identified as Lt Sana of Tentha, Sgt Sinsuba of Serou, Sgt Deven of Leimapokpam, Cpl Engba of Samurou, L/Cpl Chumthang of Sekmaijing, Comrade Rabi of Ithai, Comrade Deben of Sekmaijing, Comrade Dilip of Lilong, Comrade Abung of Keibi and Comrade Surjit of Keibi.

The outfit further said that it also shares the grief and pain of the family members of the deceased cadres and added that their death is a big loss to the Mobile Task Force.

However no force on earth can deter the movement launched by the MTF, declared the statement and added that even if all the army in the world stand against them, they would fight back till the end.

It is much better to lay down one's life than to lead to a life of servitude, devoid of any freedom, it added.
