Imphal, April 03: The KRA has rubbished all the allegations levelled against its former general secretary K Hangshing by the KRA (U) as baseless and unfounded.

KRA information and publicity secretary T Misao recalled that the outfit had already declared KRA (U) guilty for the murder of Hangshing on its raising day last year.

However, the KRA (U) denied killing Hangshing.

Reacting to the contradictory statement made by the KRA (U), Misao accused the outfit of lacking any discipline or revolutionary ideology.

The KRA (U) was set up by deserters from organisations belonging to both the hills and valley.

On the allegation of the KRA (U) that maj Paominthang alias Collins was killed by the KRA, Misao clarified that Collins died of malaria in 2003.He was also treated at RIMS for sometime.

In a similar manner, captain Seilen alias Robert also died of malaria at Metro Hospital at Dimapur in 2004 .

Lalminthang Chongloi was shot dead by one Maj Mahavir at a spot between Changoubung and Kangpokpi after picking up from his home in 2004 .

Likewise, Roman Chongloi and Paolun Chongloi were shot dead by troops of 26 AR.

Paocha Chongloi was also shot dead by troops of 26 AR at Ithoi river bank after picking him up from Molkon Bazar.

Maj Max was eliminated by the KLA for his involvement in the killing of KLA's army chief.

This was published by publicity secretary of KLA Addy Kuki last year.

As for president of Kuki Inpi Konghom area Jamthang Haokip, he was eliminated by the KRA for misappropriating Rs 3 lakhs from the party fund and also for acting as advisor to the KNA, Misao claimed.

Nando of Kairang jumped into Imphal river on seeing commandos when he was being held captive by KRA cadres.

Misao maintained that Bungkholal, Paojang, Nekhohen, Seitinmang and Guna were eliminated for their involvement in the killing of K Hangshing.

Contending that Seitinmang was the president of the KRA (U), Misao testified his statement by saying that he signed as president of the KRA (U) in the MoU it signed with the KNO.

All those involved in the killing of Hangshing will be traced and punished accordingly, stated Misao.

Regarding the allegation K Hangshing bought Jalenphai village, Misao clarified that the village by Hangshing's uncle Lamkhulen Hangshing at Rs one lakh and not from the party's fund.

K Hangshing was murdered at the behest of some defeated MLA candidates of Sadar Hills area by offering money to the killers, asserted Misao while claiming Kukis constitute 10 percent and Meiteis 90 percent of the total strength of the KRA (U) .
